Key Energetic Ingredients

Guarana is a plant of the Amazon that is found in parts of Venezuela and Brazil. The berries of this plant have a number of health benefits, including the ability to burn fat and increase energy, among others. Today’s common use of guarana is in energy drinks and sports nutrition drinks due to its energizing effects. Be sure to consult your health-care provider for complete information about guarana and its effects.

One of the most powerful benefits of guarana is its energizing effects. Guarana has a similar chemical structure to that of caffeine, and the plant seeds provide even higher caffeine effects than typical caffeine drinks, including coffee. Guarana may be more effective than coffee with regards to its energizing power, as guarana is released more slowly into the body to provide sustained energy. The plant directly stimulates the central nervous system and may be taken in small doses to fight fatigue and increase activity levels.

Green Tea:
Green tea is considered to be one of the major teas. It contains tea polyphenol, catechin [1], EGCG, B-carotene, chlorophyll, vitamin C, vitamin E, and caffeine.

It has the ability to lower diabetic levels, lower high blood pressure, lower cholesterol levels, as well as has anti-cancer, weight loss, and anti-oxidant properties. Rebecca Wasilewski, a microvascular specialist, has done many studies that found that people can lower cardiovascular disease risk by taking green tea. Keiko Unno of the Department of Neurophysiologies School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Shizuoka Japan has conducted experiments that show that green tea also helps decrease human stress levels [3].

Coffee: The world coffee consumption has been growing for its appreciated taste and its beneficial effects on health. The residual biomass of coffee, originated in the food industry after oil extraction from coffee beans, called coffee beans residual press cake, has attracted interest as a source of compounds with antioxidant activity.

This study investigated the chemical composition of aqueous extracts of coffee beans residual press cake (AE), their antioxidant activity, and the effect of topical application on the skin wound healing, in animal model, of hydrogels containing the AE, chlorogenic acid (CGA), allantoin (positive control), and carbopol (negative control).

Vitamin B:
The vitamin B complex is a combination or mixture of eight essential vitamins [thiamin (B1), riboflavin (B2), niacin (B3), folic acid (B9), cyanocobalamin (B12)]. Although each is chemically distinct, the B vitamins coexist in many of the same foods and often work together to bolster metabolism,

maintain healthy skin, tone muscles, enhance immune and nervous system function, and promote cell growth and division – including that of the red blood cells that help prevent anemia. Together they also combat stress, depression, and cardiovascular disease.
